We are looking for a Technical Designer that is passionate about building and playing mobile RPG games. The successful candidate has a passion for deconstructing and reverse engineering complex game systems (gameplay, metagame, economies, etc.), building and prototyping new and engaging systems, analyzing and balancing game mechanics, and managing more technical aspects of design and data management. This individual should have high technical acumen with scripting or programming and a high proficiency in spreadsheet design and data management.
The Technical Designer is responsible for implementing and balancing game-play content that goes directly into players hands, and evolves as players progress through the game. As part of a multidisciplinary team, this role will contribute to the creation of player experiences, work with the design director on the balancing of the combat, metagame, and larger game economy, and design, prototype, or model new experience as required. The Technical Designer has the expertise to comprehend then organize system complexity and convey it simply through documentation and presentation.
